MultiFunc displays a set of buttons linked to built in Maxthon functions.This sidebar plugin displays a set of buttons, all linked to built in Maxthon functions. The interface is based on Michael Wallner's Outlook Bar script. It looks like Outlook task bar.
It provides an easier access to menu items that are in cascading menus.
1. To change the language click Settings >> Select Language and enter the language name in the dialog window.
If you want to create your own language file go to Maxthon/Plugin/MultiFunc/Language folder. Duplicate the existing ini file, open it with a text editor (e.g. notepad), and translate items on the right of "="
2. To change the button set click Settings >> Select Button Set and enter the Button set folder in the dialog window. Currently two are supported (Default and Jeff).
If you want to create your own buttons go to Maxthon/Plugin/MultiFunc/Buttons folder. You must use the same names of the existing buttons. An easy way is to duplicate one of the existing button sets and modify those in a graphics editor (e.g. paint).
3. To change the theme click Settings >> Select Theme and enter the theme name with extension in the dialog window.
You can change colors seen in the plugin with themes. The best way is to duplicate an existing theme file, e.g. theme1.ini (located in the Plugin/MultiFunc/Themes folder).
Open the duplicated .ini file with any text editor (e.g. notepad). You'll see five items:
Background=
ButtonText=
CaptionBG=
CaptionText=
ButtonDistance=
First four items should be colors (either text or hexadecimal). These items determine:
Background: background color of button area
ButtonText: color of text displayed below buttons
CaptionBG: color of caption button
CaptionText: color of caption button text
Last one determines the distance of buttons. Do NOT make it too small as buttons will overlap each other. Ideal is between 50 and 100.
You can check existing themes and create your own themes easily.
